ENGLAND’S FOURTH TEST. SIX WICKETS TO SPARE. (A. and N.Z. Cable). BRISBANE, Feb. 16 England won th e fourth Test by six Avickets and tAvo runs, and thus regained the Ashes.

There Avas a croAvd of 5000 people at the outset and it increased later to nearly 9000. The receipts totalled £BOB, bringing the total for the match to date to £9668. The batting Avas very sloav. Australia’s hopes were dashed when Love ran Darling out, both batsmen being caught at the one end. Requiring 160 to win, England lost Sutcliffe for two runs, but by stonewalling tactics had made 107 for the loss of two Avickets at stumps, and are noAV in a very strong Avinning position.
