THE WAIHI HOSPITAL, i DECISION BY BOARD. (Special to Star). WAIHI, Feb. 15 At the monthly meeting of the Waihi Hospital Board yesterday, the chairman, Mr T. Jowsey, moved that Miss K. Stevenson, matron of the Waihi Hospital, be called upon to accept notice of the termination of her engagement on May 14. The motion Avas carried by 4 votes to 3. Mrs E. Hughes, who opposed the motion, moved that, as the chairman was not capable of ruling the Board in a fair and proper manner, he be asked to resign. There Avas no seconder to Mrs Hughes' motion. -

TTiis is the sequel to the Board's previous decision to ask Miss Stevenson to hand in her resignation, fofloAving investigation of complaints by former and present members ofthe staff. . •
