NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING BY-LAWS. 7>UR'SUANT to Sections 99 and 112 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following resolution by way of Special Order was passed at a Special meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council, held in the County Chambers at Ngatea, on Thursday, the Bth day of September, 1932, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 13th, 1932: RESOLUTION. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by part IV of the Counties Act, 1920 the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby makes by Special j Order a By-law under the Counties Act, 1920, the Health Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, the Motor Vehicles Act, 1924, the Water Supply Act, 1908, and the several Acts amending the same respectively, and all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, intituled “The Hauraki Plains County By-law, 1932,” and. it further resolves that the said by-law shall come into force on the twenty-third day of October, 1932. PURPORT OF BY-LAW. The said by-law provides, inter alia, for the control of, and where applicable the licensing of, the following: Cattle Trespass, Motor Vehicles, Heavy Traffic, certain classes of Public Speed of Motor Vehicles, Prevention of Fire, Hawkers and Pedlars, Building Permits, Public Buildings, Billiard-Rooms, Roads, Public Places, Nuisances, Privies, Drainage, keeping of Animals, Lodging Houses, Eating-'Hotases, Sale of Food, Offensive Trades, Cattle Saleyards, and Water iSupply. A full copy of the said by-law is deposited at the County Office, Ngatea, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours until 4 p.m. on the 12th day of October, 1932.
