MEETING OP UNION, THIS WEEK’S FIXTURES. At the weekly meeting of the Thames Rugby Union last evening, the chairman, Mr D. Mackay, presided over a good attendance. The secretary, Technical Old Roys’ Club, Auck’and, wioto enclosing personnel of the third-grade intermediate team to play Thames juniors on Saturday. The Mercury Bay Sub-Union extended an invitation to members of the Thames Union to a dance and presentation of trophies on Friday • evening. All Black’s Death. It was decided to send a letter of condolence to the Auckland Rugby Union in connection with tile death of B.' P. Palmer as the result of injuries received while playing on* Saturday. • It was decided to forward a letter congratulating the Hamilton Union on their success in regaining ■ the Peace Cup. MATCHES. Fixtures for Saturday were arranged as follows: — Junior. Technical Old Boys v. Thames juniors, No. 1 ground, 3 p.m. High Schools. Waihi High School A v. Thames High School A, No. 1 ground, 1.30 p.m.; Waihi High School B v. Thames High School B, No. 2 ground, 1.30 p.m. Primary Schools. Waihi v. Thames; time to be arranged.
