Winter Exhibition.
TO BE HELD AT AUCKLAND. ONE-MAN-FARM DISPLAY. The schedules for the Auckland Winter Exhibition are now in circulation, and, judging by the requests received, there should be a record entry for the forthcoming fixture. In view of the .national necessity for turning towards the land for our existence, it is fitting that prominence should be given to the one-man-farm, owned or worked by the farmer and his family. Special prominence has been given to that class on this occasion, and it takes on an importance equal to the great district courts which have hitherto been a special feature of the Auckland Winter Exhibition. For the better judging of this class, a system of points’ judging has been evolved. Probably the most outstanding exhibit of the great Australian shows is the one-man-farm display, and, judging by the interest displayed, a wonderful example of the versatility of the farmer is promised to patrons of the forthcoming Winter Exhibition.
