Before Mr F. W. Platts, S.M., in the Thames Court, a fine was inflicted on a man for failing to pay his unemployment levy. James Wallis, who had failed to pay two instalments of his unemploy: ment levy, was proceeded against By the Inspector of Factories and fined 10/- without costs on each charge.
