Smash At Netherton.

♦ TWO CARS COLLIDE. ONE COMPLETELY WRECKED. Enthusiasts returning from the Te Aroha trots on Saturday came upon the scene of a very nasty motor smash at Netherton. According to persons who arrived on the scene shortly after the smash, one driver stated that he was dazzled by the lights of an approaching car, and they collided. Both were light cars, and one was capsized and completely wrecked. Two ladies who were passengers in one car, and a small boy, suffered from shock. The passengers in one car were very fortunate in that the car capsized towards the centre of the road. Had it gone the other way they would have been precipitated into the big drain, probably with fatal consequences.
