The following business was transacted at the Warden’s Court yesterday :
J. H. Fleming—Protection over Sylvia S.Q.C., 8318, Watchman S.Q.C. 8319, Brilliant S.Q.C. 8320, Sentinel S.Q.C. 5321, Big Reefs S.Q.C. 8310, •» Brilliant No. 2, 8317. An objection being lodged by Percy Hill, the request was refused.
James McCormick was granted six months’ protection over New Nonpareil S.Q.C., 8346.
John Thomas Baker was granted a prospect.ng licence over 20 acres in Karaka Creek.
Reduction of rent was recommended W. T. Onion on the.- Scandinavian from 2/6 to 1/- per acre
per annum,
R. H. Dovcll was granted a 42Vear licence over “The Dip” S.Q.C..* eight'acres, being 80 chains of the course of the Mata. Creek.
H. W. Dovell was granted a 42years licence over “Mascot” S.Q.C. eight acres, being 80 chains in the course of the Mata Stream.
G. A. Jorgensen was granted a 42years licence on the “Hood” S.R.C., eight acres, being 80 chains of the course of the Mata Stream.
E. L. Danvell was granted a prospecting licence for one year over 22 acres in Karaka Creek.
A residence site licence No. 7369 was granted J. S. Walshe, Waiotahi.
