EVERYBODY WELCOME.

COROMANDEL TIN-CANNING. A newly-married couple were serenaded on Monday night by the hastily-formed Benzinetin-cum-Jazz Band. During the serenading some excitement and “other items” were met with, and the serenaders were heartily and strenuously appreciated. The appreciation was so genuine that several members of the band received marks of the same. The contents of a left-handed tureen spread over one, being his share to one of them. Another was presented with a gash on the napper like a crack in a pie, and all went as merry as the proverbial marriage bell. The proceedings terminated with a Maori quickstep, the refrain being “Ngata Hau Hau Te Tangowahine Te Aute Otane Waipawa Tirau.”
