SATISFACTORY YEAR.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 3.

The directors of the Australasian, Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Society, Limited, report that for the financial year ended September 30, 1931, the new business completed comprised 21,074 policies, assuring £5,421,427 in the ordinary department, 115,752 policies assuring £5,031,749 in the industrial department and 2600 accidept and sickness policies insuring £1,381,650. In addition 4397 life policies included in the ordinary department have been endorsed with accident and sickness benefits • to the extent of a sum assured of £1,272,106.
