YESTERDAY’S ELECTION.

FOR NEW TRUSTEES. The election for trustees of the Hauraki United Drainage Board was held yesterday. The results are as follows: — Central North Subdivision. —H. H. Hicks 85, S. G. Williams 69 (elected), J. Spence 40. ■Central South Subdivision. —F. L. Hamilton 69, R. Baker 57 (elected), J. W. McLarin 24. Southern Subdivision. P. G. Pearce 44 (elected), R. 11. Heappey 23. Northern Subdivision. —Messrs S. S. Murray and D. J. Law were elected unopposed.
