Fred Parker, list 4J'b (Timaru) retained the iNew Zealand middleweight championship, against Len. Tu, her, list lib (Nelson), on Saturday night, the referee stopping the bout in the thirteenth round after the champion had floored his, opponent four times. Up to the thirteenth round the points were even.
