Dunton, vice-president and treasurer of Thrift .Stores, Ltd., of Canada, in a statement that sales for the year ending March 31 are expected to shoAV an increase of £600,000, or GO per cent. The company increased the amount of newspaper space used during the year, spending at times an amount equal to one-third of net profits.
