POPULAR DANCE.

SILVER SLIPPER CABARET. ON SATURDAY NIGHT. On Saturday night last a most enjoyable dance was held at the Silver Slipper Cabaret. Being a typical dancing night a record crowd attended, some 50 or more visitors coming from Te Aroha, Hauraki Plains and surrounding districtsDuring the evening an exhibition of step dancing was given by Mr T. Clendon, of Te Aroha, which was very much enjoyed by all present. The popular Collegians featured all the latest and best dance numbers many encores being called for. Much praise is due to Mr Neate for the most able way he acted as M.C. With the rhythmic music supplied by the Collegians everyone present enjoyed themselves to the utmost. Extras were supplied by Miss Wenzlick and Mr T. Redwood. These dances are proving a huge success.
