Thames Star.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 1931. BOROUGH AFFAIRS.

"With malice towards none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right."—Lincoln.

The very pertinent questions asked by a correspondent in Monday's issue of the "Star" take a little time to answer. Reference to the Town Clerk regarding these brought forth the reply that most of the replies could bo obtained from the balance sheet. It was pointed out that few people understood a balance sheet, whereupon the Tow: Clerk offered to supply the information later in the week, and wo shall 'then have the pleasure of publishing a full reply to our correspondent's letter.
