FOR SCIENCE.

WOMAN WILLS EYES. Miss Florence Buchanan, the scientist and daughter of the late Sir George Buchanan, the eminent engineer, suffered from failing eyesight, and was totally blind when she died in March. In her will she directed that her eyes should lie removed and examined, and the results published. For the purpose she left £250. She also left her own account of the state of her eyes, compiled from observations since 1922. Dr W. T. Collier, of Oxford, has undertaken the examination, lint the work will not be completed for two or three years.
