PUBLIC NOTICES. J^EW ZEALAND FORCES. MILITARY APPLICATIONS FOR ENLISTMENT for Voluntary Enlistment in the Ist. Battalion, The Hauraki Regiment, are invited. Age: Minimum, IS years. Maximum, 32 years. Those under the age of IS years may join a Cadet Regimental Detachment until they attain the minimum age. Training:—All ranks at this Centre will be trained as Lewis Gunners. Parade will be held- at Thames Drill Hall each Wednesday night, and sufficient Daylight Parades to complete Class Firing. The Annual Camp for this Training Year will be held at TAUEANGA from February 20th to 27th. Uniforms:—A Complete Uniform, including Riding Beeches, will be issued. A Representative will be in attendance at Thames Drill Hall on Wednesday, July 15, from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. to receive applications for enrolment. A N Extra Discount of Is. 2d. will be allowed on every complete thousand cubic feet of Gas used through one meter after the meter reading in July, 1931. Consumers of 200 to 900 cubic feet per month will be allowed an extra discount of a half-penny per 100 cubic feet, making the total discount One and a half Pence per 100 cubic feet. This Discount is only allowed providing all Arrears for Gas are paid at the Company’s Office on or before July 31st, 1931. COKE AND TAR. A Discount of five per cent, will be allowed on all Cash and Monthly Credit Accounts, providing all Arrears up to June 30th, \1931, are paid on or before July 31st, 1931. Gas Consumers having in use Cookers, etc., bought on Time Payment from the Company will receive 5 per cent, discount on payment of the whole balance due on or before July 31st, 1931.
