Fixing Value of Cows.
“Who fixes the value of these cows?” asked a member at the July meeting of the Thames Valley Power Board, when a claim for a cow which had been electrocuted was received. The manager replied that the insury ance company interested fixed the value, but it was the custom for a Board member to be called in to inspect the dead animal and verify the value set on it. ■
