WOMEN'S CONFERENCE.
OF THE FARMERS' UNION. REMITS CARRIED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 9. The Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union Conference decided that a wool campaign be carried out throughout the Dominion and plans were made accordingly. The sixpenny levy for travellingexpenses of the executive members was abolished. A remit that moneys given to branches for community work where not specially specified for local branches should be passed into the funds of the Dominion Executive was carried, Mrs C. C. Jackson was again elected president and Dominion vicepresidents are Mesdames Walker, Wilson, Wickham (North Island), and Drake, Neiderer and Hall (South Island). The Dominion treasurer is Mrs Simpson.
