A MISSING GIRL.
A SUSPICIOUS CASE. POLICE DIG UP GROUND. IX VICINITY OF KILBIRNIE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 9. It is reported that suspicious circumstances surround the disappearance "of Phyllis Rene Syinons, or Coates, aged 17, who has been missing from her place of residence since June 25 or 26. A number of detectives and the police were yesterday engaged in digging on the town belt in the vicinity of Kilbirne.
