MR McTAGGART JOINT STAFF.
Mr M. C. McTaggart, M.C., 0.C.M., has joined the Goldbe-; Advertising Agency, Ltd., as marketing, merchandising, and advertising executive. Born in Scotland, and ° educated at the Edinburgh Grammar School, Mr McTaggart proceeded to Australia, and at the outbreak of the war ni 1914 enlisted with the A.I.F. Main Body, and was in active service during the whole period of hostilities. He served with the 10th Australian Battalion (S.A.), was at the landing at Gallipoli, and later proceeded with his unit to France. _ . Twice mentioned in dispatches, | Mr “McTaggart also won the Distinguished Conduct Medal on August 8 at Anzac Cove, the Military Cross with bar. and the Croix de Guerre for gallantry during the first and second battles of the Somme and at Passchendaele. Since the war lie has been actively • engaged in merchandising, marketing and advertising research m Australia and New Zealand, enlarging his experience through active connection with Messrs Speddincr Bros., Auckland, and also with the” Shell organisation throughout Kew Zealand.
