"LORD BYRON OF BROADWAY."

GENUINELY GKEAT MOVIE

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's newest musical romance, "Lord Byron of Broadway," enhanced by songs, dances, and most striking technicolour scenes, will open to-night at the' King's Theatre. The picture achieves distinction in introducing Ethel ind Terry, star of the musical comedy hit, Rio Rita. The picture, a story of the rise of a cafe piano player to the status of a matinee idol and his disastrous love affairs with five beautiful girls, was directed by "William Nigh and Harry Beaumont. From reports the picture decidedly leans towards the musical spectacle type of picture exemnlified by "The Broadway Melody" and "The Hollywood Revue," but lays more emphasis to plot and narrative than did the former pictures.
