VERDICT AT INQUEST. LETTERS OF DECEASED. i , (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 19. A verdict that Hilda A. M. Millen "was shot dead by her husband, Henry John Millen, who then shot 'himself, was returned at the inquest •on the victims of the Howick tra■gedy on August 9. During the inquest two letters were produced but not read. The coroner said one was a letter from Millen to his son, and that there was nothing in the other letter except an expression of the indention to kill his wife.
