SOME TAHITI MAIL LOST.
PAPERS AND PARCELS ABANDONED.
(Special to .Star). AUCKLAND, Aug. 19. Of the Tahiti mail six letterbags were lost in transit and 50 bays are wet. Otherwise all letter mail was safely transferred to the Ventura. Newspapers, packets and parcels were abandoned.
