The Ashburton Returned Soldiers' Association yesterday passed a resolution calling upon the Government to carry out its obligations to disabled soldiers by the appointment of a Soldiers' Re-establishment League under the Unemployment Bill. The association is also "strongly of the opinion that the recommendations of the Rehabitilation Commission should be carried out by the Government in their entirety,' says a Press Association message.
