Motorists using the Dunedin to Invercargill main highway' last Saturday had some unenviable experiences owing to the heavy snow. A driver who reached Invercargill about 6 p.m. stated that at Arthurton, where the snow was particularly heavy, nine oars and a lorry were held up.
