The Auckland Chamber of Commerce is opposed to the proposal to nationalise hospital administration for the following main reasons:—(l) A large number of political hospitals s would ho established.

.2) Stnfte control would he more costly than local body control. (3) State control would greatly lessen local interest and voluntary effort.
