PROFIT FOR THE YEAR. v, 12 PER CENT. DIVIDEND. (By Telegraph.—Press. Association.) WELLINGTON, July 1. Cabled advice has been received ££rbm London bv the general manager -of the National Bank of New Zear . la/iid, Limited, that the net profit the year ended March 31 last, '■ .after providing for bad and doubtful -debts, and after paying *a bonus to -the staff, amounted to £282,917 sterling which- with £155,154 brought •forward vfrom the previous year, leaves available for distribution £438,••071. This it is proposed to allocate as follows: In pavment of a dividend •=at the .rate of 12 per cent per annum, to premises account £IO,OOU, -to the pension and gratuity fund £13,■soo. The balance to be earned forward as £174,171. .
