RAINBOW TEA-ROOMS.
OPENED TO-DAY. New and up-to-date tea-rooms, were opened this morning at premises at the corner of Pollen and Mary Streets, under the name of the Rainbow Luncheon and Tea-Rooms. The rooms are tastefully set out, being artistic and comfortable, with colour scheme carried with successful effect. There is also an attractive card room, wher* tables., may be engaged for bridge,' fiver hundred and other card games, and
afternoon tea.- The Rainbow Rooms will make a speciality of afternoon, tea, with tasty home-made, cookery, while the lounge is provided . with. comfortable settee, writing desk, mirror and papers, where visitors, after shopping, may spend. a restful hour while waiting for their bus, train orf steamer. The RainbowRooms will also be available *for evening bridge or five-hundred parties, tables, cards and supper being provided at a very reasonable fee. Attractive tea-rooms are to be found in most up-to-date towns, and the "Rainbow" should 'bring Thames in line with towns ..of a. similar size in the Dominion.*
