The death has occurred of Mr. William A. Low, aged 56, a well known member of athletic and theatrical circles. He was formerly New Zealand quarter and half mile champion. He was associated as business manager with the late • George Stephenson's musical comedy company and various other shows including J. C. Williamson's, says 'a Dunedin Press Association wire.
The death has occurred of the Rev. W. Macara, aged 83, at Sumner, a well; known ' Presbyterian minister, says a Ghristchurch Press Association wire. ~
