a The carriage of Alice Hazelton Ansford, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ansford, of Hap© .Creek,' rhames, to Francis Henrv Walsh, of Waitnkaruru. second son*of Mrs J Walsh, of Mount Albeit, Auckland, was celebrated at St. George's Church, Thames, On June 18. The Rev. Rowland B. Davison officiated, and Sir. Barras Gle?son played the wedding music. The bride,, who was given away b Y her father, wore a frock of cream larosa. over ivory sat'n, wittt. a closely fitting bodice and a cape of ivory georgette drawn over the shoulders to moat in a soft bow in the front. The skirt, which,.was attached to a hip yoke. was composed of petalled" panels falling to ankle lenorth at the back, and was finished with a butterfly bow of ivory georgette and diamante" on the left hdpi. Her . tulle veil was arranged with a coronet of orange blossom and formed' a train. She carried a bouquet-of cream rose 3 and cnrintions. The. bride's attendants. Miss Trix Ansford, sister of the bride, and Miss Gwen Walsh, sister of the bridegroom, were dressed in a sfrnilar fashion, the; former wearing powder blue georgette over satin and tine,latter apitfergreeT* georgette. Their frocks were fashioned' with t r glit fitting ' bodices and the skirts, which fell in • four deep points? to the ankle were bordered with tiny frfls <above , the hemline. Their headr dresfes of blue and gre«n tulle were arranged fan-wise with diamantej and? both carried bouquets of flowers totone. The bridegroom Was attended by Mr.-.Erio "Duffin as.-best man and Mr. Arche Godkih was groomsman. The reception was held at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Ansfbjrd, who wore black satin beante-, relieved, with lemon georgette, with ti fu>* coat and 1 to tone. Mrs. Walsh, mother: of the'bridegroom, . wore autumn-shaded/ wool crepe de chine with coat and hat to tone. Both carried bouquets of violets. The bride and bridegroom left ,anv'd showers, of confetti for Whano:arp>i, the bride travelling in a frock of sasa blue santoi, with nigger-brown coat and hat* to tone.
