ATIAMURI AND TE KAUWHATA.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, June 27.

Good progress is being made by the' Government in the developing of two blocks of land for settlement. One is. of 2000 acres, good pumice land fifteen miles from Rotorua on the Aiiamuri side, and'the other area is of 50.6 acres at Te Kauwhata, formerly a' wattle plantation. A portion of the former block Will be laid in grass and fenced,' and prior to settlement will be laid out into nice sized farms. On the latter blocky clearing will be* done and an amount of ploughing completed.
