The Plunket Shield match between Otago and Wellington was continued on*,Saturday in ideal weather. Lowry, the Wellington captain, closed the visitors’ innings at the overnight score of nine wickets for 283 runs, and the home team opened with the wicket playing quite well. Otago were disposed of for 198.
This morning play was resumed, and at 12.30 Wellington’s second innings closed for 172.
