MR, P. C. R. PURCELL

Mr. P. C. R. Pureell, aged 44, "licensee of the Star Hotel, died this -morning of pneumonia. His funeral -will tf\ke place on Sunday.
At the time of Wis death Mr. Pur•ccll was president of the Bny of Plenty Hunt dub, and the Waikato hounds find huntsmen, who had arrived for -"the first meet of €he season which was to have been held to-day. It is now cancelled, and a meeting will to-day decide on next werk's rrogramme.
