STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.

HAMILTON, Sept. 26. Severe storms with thunder and gales weie experienced over .the Waikato last evening. At Tte Aroha the son of Mr. G. McGlashan, who was on a verandah when a flash of lightning occurred, received a severe shock. He reeled but was supported by his father. A large lump was found on the side of his head. His eyesight is also affected.
