ALLEGED THEFT.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 6.

Augustus Henry Francis Wisnesky, aged 42, a railway employee, was charged today with stealing £353/9/2 while acting as clerk and treasurer of the Mercer Town Board.

He pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
