A “STABLE”.SECRET.
WHAT THE POLICE FOUND. y AIORE TO BE HEARD OF IT. A surprise visit to a stable in the Grahamstown end of Thames at‘four o’clock on Sunday afternoon last is likely to cause some heart-burnings amongst the’ flapper and young blood population of the town. ‘ Noticing a motor-car drawn up alongside the kerb at such an unusual spot, the police decided to make investigations, and found two wellknown young men and one girl in the car.
On entering the stable, a rustling was heard amongst the straw, and a search revealed a young girl in a loose-box with the straw covered by a blanket.
It was evident that the stable had been used as a camping-ground. The girl was immediately ordered to vacate the premises and rejoined, the party in the car, which .made offi, at a fast pace, but not before eupants had been recognised. *' More is likely to be 'heard of the matter.
