Rusk ill Reformers are stated to lie dissatisfied at the selection of Yliss Ellen Melville as the official candidate. A prominent Reformer in the district says that a petition is being circulated tor signatures requesting the .'Premier to have the names oi Messrs. E. H. Potter (Mayor of Aft. Eden) and R. AicK. Morrison (Air. Eden Borough Councillor) and Aliss Melville to a referendum. If not, it is stated thatthere will he 6000 signatures to the petition for Air. Potter to stand as an independent Reformer.
