SNOW FALLS.
COLD IN THE SOUTH.. (s>, v Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Aug. 31. Snow fell as far as Longbeach, which is unusually near the coast. Telephone and electric wires are down in var'ous parts of the country owing to falling branches.
