PICTURE BENEFIT.
DEMONSTRATION ON THURSDAY,
In order to help the Thames Volun-r teer Fire Brigade to gather- further funds for the new motor reel, Mr Chapman, of the King's Theatre, has decided to give a benefit evening on Wednesday next, on generous terms. A specially good programme will be given, including a spectacular film entitled, "The Fire Brigade." Tickets are now being sold, and the. response is sure to be good.
After the picture show there will he a cabaret dance, the proceeds of which will also go to the Brigade. On Thursday evening, weather permitting, the members of tho|Brigade will give a demonstration of life-sav-ing methods, and the ev%S ree n "Darktown Boarding House" will be burned in front of thfe King's Theatre between -7.30 and 8 p.m.
