COAL MINING DISPUTE.
AN AGREEMENT REACHED
*(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 11. On his return from the West Coast on Saturday, Mr T. O. Bishop, sec- . vetary of the Employers’ Federation, announced after a conference extending seven days, the existing "agreement . between the miners and the owners . had been renewed with only minor . amendments for a period of two years. The agreement is subject to ratification by the miners, who will receive : the report of the delegates on June 17. The position of the Waikato and Hilcurangi miners will be discussed at a conference at Auckland on June 20.
