ANNUAL MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent). NGATEA, March 29. The annual meeting of the Ngatea Football Club was .held !a&t night in the Hall, when Mr, H. Dent presided over a'good attendance of players and supporters. A Satisfactory Season. The report and balance-sheet showed a profit on the year's operations ot £l/6/1, balance'to be earned forward, being. £36/0/2. "The gate receipts amounted to'- 613/5/6, subscriptions, £5/2/-; donations. £lO/ /6; and dances. £lO/17/6. Transportation cost £13712/6 and refreshments, £7/9/5. The balance-sheet was adopted without j discussion. Election of Officers. The following officers were elected:— Patron.—Mr. AY. G. Hayward: President.—Mr. R. Dent. Vice-Presidents.—Messrs. C S- Foster and T McLean. Secretary.—-Mr'. C. Bertelsen. Selectors.—Senior: C. Bertelsen. Junior: E. E. Barriball. . Delegates to Union.—Messrs. H. Dent, C. Foster. Additional delegates to annual meeting: Messrs. E. A. Mahonev and E C. Barriball. General Committee.—Messrs. A. Kilbour, H. Sparrow, P. Leonard, H. Kirkman and J. McPherson. Time-keeper.—Mr. H. Dent. First-aid Attendant.—Mr. H. Sparrow. Supporters Honoured. Mr. W. G. Hayward was made a lifemember of the Club, in token of appreciation of his generosity in granting the Club the use of his grounds for a playing fieid over a long period of years. Votes of thanks were accorded the outgoing officers special mention being

made of the services of Mr. A. Ludlow, the first-aid attendant. Subscriptions. Membership fees were fixed at 5/for seniors and 3/- for juniors, with l non-playing members, 5/-. -_ A vote of anreciation was accorded Rhe McPherson, a prominent player, who is leaving the district shortly.
