THE TOTALISATOR HOUSE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —A s a visitor to the - Thames Trotting Club's meeting at Parawai racecourse on-Saturday, I must compliment the, officials' of the Club on the manner in which the meeting was conducted. At the same time, I think the present position of the totalisator house is very inconvenient. In the first place, the public have to crowd into a very small area to see the amount invested,, on each horse, which necessitates much pushing, and almost fighting, by investors wishing to put their cash on the machine. Then, again, the number of windows are not nearly enough to cope with anything\ like~a large attendance. I understand the Thames Jockey Club are the owners of the property, so trust by the time their next meeting comes round ' the totalisator house will be' shifted further along the lawn and enlarged.—l am, etc., "INVESTOR."
