FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
DAMAGE EQUALS £15,000.

A serious fire broke out in a soft goods warehouse and factory on the first and second floors of premises owned by the Cooper .Building Company, Ltd., at the corner of Cuba and Vivian Streets, last night, and completely gutted both floors, doing damage estimated at £15,000. When the brigade arrived flames were issuing through the windows of the second floor, and had obtained a good hold of the third floor, which was occupied by T. Khouri and Company, who valued their stock at between £12,000 and £13,000. The insurances on Khouri's stock and* plant are not available. The Cooper Building Company, Ltd., had a cover of £SOOO on the' building.
