AMUSEMENTS.

KING'S THEATRE

"THIS MAN FROM OKLAHOMA."

There is some really beautiful photography in the picture at the King's Theatre to-night. The picture we refer to is "The Man from Oklahoma," starring that easy-to-look-upon young man, Jack Perrin. Although it is another one of the familiar "Western" variety the beauty of its scenery and the excellent photography of these natural beauties makes it a film far above the average Western, in its entertaining appeal. "SLIDE! KELLY, SLIDE!" Sporting thrills that are reminscent of "Brown of Harvard" in their intensity and ability to carry an audience completely away in exciting suspense form one of the reasons why "Slide, Kelly, Slide!" the new picture coming to the King's Theatre to-night, will make William Haines one of the most popular .screen players to-day. As a reward for his brilliant work in "Mike," "Sally. Irene and Mary,'-' "A Slave of Fashion," "Brown of .Harvard," "Tell it to the Marines," and "Slide, Kelly, Slide," \h&- has ben starred. THE LYRIC QUARTETTE. Coming to the King's Theatre De Luxe next Tuesday is the Lyric Quartette,.,an organisation that has thoroughly- established itself in. Auckland city, and which Thames theatregoers will have the psivilege of hearing on one night only. The Quartette has toured New Zealand several times, and has sung in 84 towns.
