MINE MANAGER'S REPORT
Lucky Shot.—The winze has been sunk 6ft. from the reef, making a total distance of 41ft. The country bem fe passed through is -till mild and carrying good mineral seams; a few small stringers of quartz are now showing;, in the bottom. No work was done last week on the main reef,' going north-east. The work of cutting out the chamber in the main level should be completed about the middle of the week, when work will be resumed on the main reef. Three sets of ( timber have been placed in position* this week; in the drive on the footw.vll dropper. '-['■
