PERSONAL.
Dr. H. A. Valentine paid a short visti to Thames this week, and discussed informally with Mr. W. E. Hale (chairman) and Mr. J. W. Danby (deputy-chairman) of the Thames Hospital Board, matters in connection with the proposed amalgamation of the Thames and Waihi hospital districts.
