KING’S THEATRE. Australians are naturally proud of the boomerang, and pardonably sceptical when the famous weapon falls into “foreign” hands. There’s a surprise in store, though, for Johnny Hines, famous screen comedian, handles one with a deal of skill in his latest picture, “Rainbow Riley.” Miss O’Neil is allowed considerable scope to indulge her penchant fot numour, and the result will charm all whose fortune it is to see “Mike,” Sally’s first starring vehicle. These pictures will be screened at the King’s Theatre to-night for the last time.
QUEEN’S THEATRE. “Stepping Lively/’' an exciting drama of the underworld, starring Richard Talmadge and Mildred Harris, comes tq the Queen’s Theatre to-night. The plot is one of the most unique in the annals of the screen. It deals with the mysterious manner in which guilt is fastened on the innocent hero (Mr. Talmadge) by an unscrupulous rival for the hand of the banker’s daughter.
