A MISSING FARMER.

STILL NO TRACE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) RAETIHI, Jan. 21. The mystery concerning the fate of Mr. Francis J. Squire, farmer, of Manganui-o-te-au, remains unsolved, and the second search party, consisting of nine men, have abandoned their efforts regarding further search. They have scoured the countryside, but their efforts have proved futile. The affair in the meantime remains a mystery, and as to the missing man’s fate, it can only be a. matter of conjecture. From all appearances it seems that he went into the bush pighunting, and beyond a track found which led to a clearing, no further clue could be found.
