QUEEN’S THEATRE.
“THE SILENT VOICE.” Truly a class picture. It describes the life of a man whose nature has become embittered owing to deafness, but a simple occurrence revolutionises him, and all that is good and noble in him comes out. It is a powerful film, frought with a tenseness that becomes gripping, and holds the audience in thoughtful silence. The acting and theme of the play gives it the hallmark of a front ranker. The leading roles of John Arden and his wife are the finished efforts of two great artists. This fine film will be screened again this evening.
